Bunny Love..... by Cindy Porter

Hi everyone, Cindy here with you today to share with you my last post for Art and Soul Studio... My time on the design team has come to an end and I have my latest painting to share with you all... Bunny Love

I painted this cute little bunny using the Kuratake watercolours while I was at an all day crop, so I have a picture step by step for you today...

so grab a cuppa and sit back and enjoy...

I began by sketching out my bunny on Watercolour Paper...

Then added shading....

 I added some maroon colouring....

added some lighter pink tones... 

Painted the flowers...

 Next I painted in the balloons...

 and then added a few shadows....

 and to finish I painted in the background and added splatters...

one last look at the finished piece...

I used lots of Light Modelling Paste to create lots of texture and Acrylic Inks to paint this piece.

Pixie.... by Cndy Porter

Hi everyone, Cindy here to share with you my latest painting.... Pixie


I painted this cute little pixie while I was away, so I have a picture step by step for you today...

so grab a cuppa and sit back and enjoy...

I vegan by sketching out my pixie in my Express It Art Journal...

I then painted in the background… using fluid acrylics...

next I painted the hair using a light green for the main body of hair and a deeper shade for the underneath...

Next I filled in the skin tones

then I added shaded facial features

and painted her eyes and eyebrows

Next I added  extra hair details...

and finally I painted in her dress...

Hi everyone, Cindy here and it's challenge time again at Art and Soul Studio! and this month I have created a little painting I titled Waves of Tranquility to play along with the challenge.

I used lots of fluid acrylics to paint this piece, from Golden Fluid and High Flow acrylics and DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics.

Moonlight Wolf ...... by Cindy Porter

Hi everyone, Cindy here to share with you my latest painting.... Moonlight Wolf

I had lots of fun playing with the Schmincke Acrylic inks.... I loved the vibrancy of their colour and I loved just how little I needed to use, they are extremely pigmented, and a joy to paint with...

Now as many of you know I have been laid up quite a bit over the last couple of months, but I am happy to say I am almost back to 100% and back to videoing my processes... so I have made you all a quick time lapse video of my painting... so grab a cuppa and enjoy...

November Challenge..... by Cindy Porter

Hi everyone, it's challenge time again over at Art and Soul Studio! and this month I have created a quick little poppy painting to play along with the challenge.

I used some of the goodies I picked up at Art & Soul Studio on my recent visit when passing through Hervey Bay...

 If you are every in Hervey Bay I recommend you allow some time and check the store out... so much more in store than currently on the online store...

Here's my haul.... look at those gorgeous paints and inks...

Oh and I tried to take a selfie out the front of the shop... well I don't take selfies very well at all... always have a strained look on my face, lol...
