June Challenge play along..... by Cindy Porter

Hi Art and Soul Studio fans, Cindy here with you today to sharing my take on the current June challenge mood board: a quick couple of image transfers on giant tags that I created....

So I was inspired by the colour palate and the idea of journeys and steps... I decided to have some fun with my Gel Press Plate and play with some magazine image transfers...

Art journal by Aga Baraniak

Hi All. I am very happy to present my inspirations on Art and Soul Studio blog.

Today I have prepared for you a few tips on how to use the masks and sramps available online. See the pictures below:

I rubed Gelatos crayons firstly with fingers then water what made a smooth color transition.

I put a stencil on the surface and I stamp only empty space to get high quality picture.

I used gelli platte and acrylic paints to prepare a paper sheet which I used for stencil.

I love to use my own pen doodles in my works. Sometimes I use fine-tip felt pen but it must be permament so that they don't smear too much.

Love this Kid.... by Cindy Porter

Hi everyone, it's Cindy back with you today to share my latest layout with you "Love this Kid"

This layout is my take on the January/February Soul Sisters Scrapbooking and Cardmaking Challenge.... now this is a challenge worth having a go at... your chance to win a $50 voucher from Art and Soul Studio, seriously who wouldn't want to be in that!!

So here is the Mood Board for the challenge....

So it has my fav colour to work with orange... but I don't usually use it in such a warm combination as this.... and then there's the "sparkle and shine" oh great... glitter, I guess I'll be wearing that for the next week at least... The Chipboard and Tags, makes me smile... love love love chipboard, so that's easy for me and tags are so versatile, so no stress there... ok... so lets get to it.... here is my process video and if you scroll down after the video I have include a bonus video for you too!!!
