A Bird in Harmony with Nature

Hello and Welcome Ina here to share with you what I made with

 the most gorgeous March Mood Board for

Art and Soul Studio.
The Mood Board called for leaves or feathers
so on a walk back from my mailbox (it's a bit of a walk)
 I collected a few bits of bark and leaves
with some amazing colours and markings
to add to my creation. Also found a few feathers
left behind by some birds.
Here is my 8" x  8" finished canvas.

and the Mood Board

I started by adding gesso to my canvas and then
 inking Art Alchemy Metallic Paints in
Frozen Berries and Romance Pink with
strokes of white .

Adding some interest with some inked rings

using the lid of one of my sprays

then texture with Tim Holtz Stone Stencil

with DecoArt Crackle Paint.

Now the inky fun part begins by going outside

and spraying my leaves, bark and birdcage with

Dylusions Funky Fuchia Spray, Tim Holtz Antique Bronze

Spray Stain and Lindy's Witches Potion Purple Spray.

I did this on the side of an old trailer in our garage.

Now to decide where to add my elements.

Straw bits were sprayed with the colours above

and I added Finnabair Art Stones.

Added a few feathers I found in our yard.

MY February 'Free Post' for Art and Soul Studio

Hello and Welcome to  my  'Free Post' for

  Art and Soul Studio
Something simple this time!

Here's the Mood Board again!

I chose the Carabelle Mannequin Steam Punk Stamp
from Art and Soul Studio to showcase and started by 

using Canson 14lb watercolour paper to heat emboss

with Tim's Potting Soil.

I then coloured the image with 

Nuvo shimmer Powder in Solar Flare, 

 Cherry Bomb, Catherine Wheel and some shimmer paints

I did a white wash to the background.

Added some cogs and a few circle dots

from Kaisercraft in glitter paper. A bit more bling with 

pink gemstones, also Nuvo Copper Penny Drops.

Cut out with a stitched die and adhered to bright pink card base.

Just a quick post this time.
